And I find myself asking: what is the true value of a gift? What can we give the people closest to us that will truly matter?

For me, the gifts that resonate most are deeply personal: my daughter’s little drawings, my mother’s cookies, a quiet dinner with my husband, a day spent wandering with a friend. These moments, these gestures, carry weight and warmth that no material object can replace.

Yet when it comes to giving something tangible, I often pause. There is a pressure, the fear of forgetting someone, of not showing care.
